About the Role
Join Cyber Focus AI’s mission-focused team dedicated to supporting U.S. Veterans through the Medical Disability Examination (MDE) program. This fully remote position centers on coordinating medical exam scheduling connected to Veterans' claims with the Department of Veterans Affairs. It requires excellent communication skills, compassion, and strong organizational abilities to guide Veterans through the scheduling process, ensuring timely and professional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze Examination Scheduling Requests (ESRs), along with medical and service records, to assess case readiness and necessary exams or diagnostic tests.
- Submit and monitor clarification requests to the Department of Veterans Affairs and oversee cases from initiation through completion.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling with claimants, clinic personnel, and internal teams, tracking exam completion and documenting all required information promptly and accurately.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, handling sensitive data with professionalism and discretion.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams and clinic partners to resolve issues, escalate concerns as needed, and support efficient workflow.
- Function as a point of contact for assigned clinics to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
- Contribute to operational support, mentor colleagues when necessary, and participate in process improvement efforts.
- Adhere to productivity, quality, timeliness, and performance targets within a structured, metrics-driven setting.
- Adapt to and utilize evolving technologies, AI tools, and automation systems employed within the program.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent professional experience working remotely or in a hybrid setting in medical scheduling is mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year handling high-volume outbound telephone calls (40+ calls daily).
- Prior experience in medical scheduling, insurance verification, claims processing, prior authorizations, or medical records management is highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact professionally with Veterans, clinic staff, and internal teams.
- Applicants must be US citizens residing in the US; preference is given to candidates in Eastern Time Zones to cover business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
- This role is not entry-level and requires proven remote or hybrid professional work experience; candidates lacking this will not be considered.

- Hourly pay rate of $21.00.
