About the Role
Join Community Health Systems (CHS) - Shared Services Center as a Remote Customer Service Specialist, where you'll contribute significantly to high-quality healthcare by nurturing strong patient relationships and supporting the communities we serve.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via multiple channels including phone, email, and chat, delivering accurate and timely assistance.
- Identify customer needs and issues, resolving problems efficiently and escalating complex matters when necessary to appropriate teams.
- Provide first-level support related to platforms, software applications, and back-office operations.
- Accurately document all customer interactions in the CRM system, maintaining detailed records of issues and resolutions.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards and key performance indicators such as productivity, response times, and customer satisfaction.
- Exemplify professionalism, patience, and a customer-centric approach in all communications.
- Collaborate and share knowledge within the team to foster a supportive and productive work environment.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and standards.
Work Schedule
The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Arizona time. Initial training for the first three weeks occurs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Standard Time.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some college coursework or an Associate Degree in a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within a call center or help desk environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and customer support tools is preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively address and resolve customer concerns.
- Competent with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a dynamic setting.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling positive engagement with customers and colleagues.
