About The Role

This position as a Remote HR Generalist based in the United States involves managing essential HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle for distributed teams. Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, administering benefits, managing employee relations, coordinating leave processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining HR information systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily HR activities such as onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
• Address employee questions and support employee relations cases with accurate and thorough documentation.
• Oversee benefits administration, facilitate open enrollment periods, and liaise with benefit vendors.
• Administer leave management processes including FMLA, ADA interactive support, and state-specific leave policies.
• Ensure the accuracy and control of HRIS data, maintain accessibility permissions, and generate standard reports.
• Assist with payroll by verifying employee updates and ensuring timely payroll submissions.
• Update and uphold HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance postings across multiple states.
• Support performance management activities, enable managers, and handle employee documentation.
• Contribute to investigations, corrective action processes, and resolution planning using consistent practices.
• Monitor HR metrics and prepare operational reports for leadership review.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years' experience working as an HR Generalist or a similar HR operations capacity.
• Familiarity with US employment laws and compliance requirements spanning multiple states.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms, maintaining employee records, and generating HR reports.
• Experience handling employee relations matters with solid documentation skills.
• Excellent written communication abilities to support effective remote teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Compensation
