Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact for accessing Deutsche Bank Wealth Management's full service portfolio, collaborating closely with Investment Managers for daily client support and planning.
- Initiate and develop new client relationships and expand existing ones, dedicating significant efforts to prospecting and asset growth aligned with the bank’s business goals.
- Manage overall client relationships holistically, including addressing client complaints as the main point of responsibility.
- Work in tandem with Investment Managers and Institutional Wealth Partners to deepen client engagements and support origination activities.
- Ensure client advice complies with regulatory requirements and stay updated on client-related initiatives.
- Identify client borrowing and financing needs proactively, involving lending experts to capitalize on opportunities.
- Analyze markets continuously to spot potential client prospects and growth possibilities.
- Act as the Accountable Client Owner for all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements, ensuring timely and quality Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and monitoring account behavior in line with expected transactions.
- When no Investment Manager is assigned, oversee investment suitability assessments and client order execution while ensuring all necessary verifications.
- Participate actively in client social events, public relations, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain team operational routines, including prospect and pipeline reviews and account planning, demonstrating leadership and exemplary conduct.
- Collaborate closely with other business and support functions across Deutsche Bank to maximize value delivery.
- Support business growth strategies, contribute to a high-performing team, and uphold professional, legal, and ethical standards including compliance and risk management.
Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 5 years' wealth management or private banking experience for Vice President level; at least 8 years for Director and higher roles.
- Established network of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients within the regional coverage area.
- Fluent communication skills in English and other languages relevant to the target client markets.
- Strong attention to detail in strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Deep investment knowledge and acumen.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable regulatory frameworks (e.g., RDR, MiFID II), confidentiality and data protection regulations, including cross-border compliance.
- High professional integrity and ethical standards.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Ability and willingness to mentor and develop junior staff such as analysts.
- Qualifications such as CFA, MBA, or other advanced degrees are advantageous.
