About the Opportunity

In partnership with a dedicated Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of small to medium enterprises, working closely with passionate business owners across diverse sectors. Your role involves developing a thorough understanding of your clients' businesses and financial needs to drive portfolio growth via acquisition, increasing wallet share, and generating referrals. Leveraging sophisticated systems and analytics will enable you to deliver tailored solutions effectively.

You will enhance your technical knowledge by collaborating with product specialists and various internal stakeholders to skillfully design, structure, and execute financial deals. A supportive leadership team will provide guidance and encouragement as you advance your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support and solutions to Agribusiness clients by assessing their specific requirements.
• Forge and maintain robust internal and external networks to facilitate optimal deal structuring and execution.
• Partner with product and specialist teams to structure financial deals effectively.
• Proactively oversee credit and operational risks within your portfolio.
• Apply discretionary credit approval authority appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with Agribusiness customers, as the role primarily serves this sector.
• Capability to cultivate enduring customer relationships and consistently maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Profound understanding of mid-market commercial banking products.
• Competence in identifying customer business needs and delivering customized financial solutions.
• Experience in assessing, advising on, monitoring, and/or approving customer creditworthiness and risk, including structuring credit facilities.
• Skilled negotiation of terms for credit facilities and banking products aligned with clients' business objectives.
• Strong commercial insight with ability to drive operational efficiency and long-term value creation.
• Knowledgeable about regulatory compliance, risk management, and risk mitigation strategies.
• A growth mindset is valued; possessing most but not all qualifications is welcomed.
