Role overview
The Relations and Marketing Officer supports the Principal in a childcare centre by building strong partnerships with parents, delivering responsive customer service, and handling marketing as well as administrative tasks across finance, HR, and procurement-related functions.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate centre events and engagement initiatives that encourage stronger parent participation.
- Support publicity efforts for centre programmes, activities, and events through marketing coordination.
- Assist with administrative work such as gathering, arranging, and maintaining records and information, as well as preparing learning materials.
- Handle financial administration by tracking fees and claims accurately and maintaining proper records.
- Support classroom operations by helping maintain children’s safety and well-being and assisting with daily care routines.
Requirements
- A diploma or higher qualification is required.
- Applicants should have strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
- A pleasant and approachable manner is important for the role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is expected.
