• Assistant Professor Grade-II: 16 openings across Computing, Electronics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, English, Bioinformatics, Design Engineering, and Management Studies

Relevant Research and Teaching Areas

Applications are welcome in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Computer Science and Engineering: artificial intelligence, machine learning, cyber security, blockchain, data science, cloud computing, natural language processing, quantum computing, and computer vision

Role Summary

Faculty members appointed to these positions will contribute to teaching, research, student supervision, academic development, and institutional growth at IIIT Una.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Carry out high-quality research and publish in indexed journals
• Guide PhD scholars and other research students
• Develop and secure funded research projects and consultancy work
• Contribute to academic administration and institutional initiatives
• Take part in outreach programs, workshops, and academic leadership activities

Eligibility and Qualification

• Professor: PhD in a relevant discipline, 15 years of teaching or research experience, at least 10 SCI/SCIE/SCOPUS publications, supervision of 4 PhD scholars, and experience in research projects and academic leadership
• Associate Professor: PhD required, 6 years of experience as Assistant Professor Grade-I, at least 6 indexed publications, at least 1 PhD awarded, and supervision experience
• Assistant Professor (Grade-I): PhD required, 3 years of experience as Assistant Professor Grade-II, publications in indexed journals, and experience in PhD supervision and sponsored projects
• Assistant Professor (Grade-II): PhD in a relevant discipline and first class in both UG and PG, or an equivalent CGPA of 6.5 or higher
