The Department Pool Registered Nurse (RN) independently manages patient care for a consistent group of individuals, adhering to nursing processes and clinical standards. Responsibilities include delegating suitable patient care duties to the healthcare team and maintaining professional accountability and growth. This position addresses staffing needs within the department, supporting high-quality patient care.

Certifications and Licenses
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) if required by the department
- Preferred nurse specialty certifications
Education and Experience
- Associate's degree or diploma in Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 18 months’ experience in acute care or specialty nursing required
Additional Information
- Location: Mease Dunedin Hospital, Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand
- Status: Pool position, non-exempt
- Shift: Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Occasional weekend work may be required
- No on-call duties
- Position requires onsite attendance; remote work is not available
