Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time, fixed-term position at the Grace Joel Retirement Village, located in St Heliers, Auckland. This role requires working Tuesday through Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, beginning immediately and continuing until January 9, 2027. The nurse will enhance residents' quality of life by providing empathetic, professional care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trusting and meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, review, and implement personalized care plans.
  • Administer treatments and provide continuous care support to residents.
  • Utilize advanced technology tools, including the myRyman care application.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Manager and Unit Coordinators to maintain high standards of care.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
  • Reliable, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Compassionate and committed to delivering quality care to residents.
  • Applicants must have legal work rights in New Zealand; overseas candidates are welcome if they meet this requirement.
