About the Role
Salinas Valley Post Acute invites a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team full-time. This key role involves comprehensive nutritional support for residents, ensuring their well-being through tailored medical nutrition therapies and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Primary Duties
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for new and ongoing residents
- Design, apply, and monitor personalized medical nutrition therapy plans
- Engage actively in multidisciplinary care meetings with healthcare providers
- Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure food safety, nutrition compliance, and appeal
- Educate residents, their families, and staff on nutritional matters
Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold current Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Valid state licensure or certification where required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related fields
- Preferred experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication skills, and familiarity with electronic health records
