Registered Dietitian - Full Time

About the Role

Salinas Valley Post Acute invites a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team full-time. This key role involves comprehensive nutritional support for residents, ensuring their well-being through tailored medical nutrition therapies and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Primary Duties

• Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for new and ongoing residents
• Design, apply, and monitor personalized medical nutrition therapy plans
• Engage actively in multidisciplinary care meetings with healthcare providers
• Collaborate with culinary teams to ensure food safety, nutrition compliance, and appeal
• Educate residents, their families, and staff on nutritional matters

Qualifications and Skills

• Must hold current Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• Valid state licensure or certification where required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related fields
• Preferred experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care settings
• Excellent clinical decision-making, communication skills, and familiarity with electronic health records
