The Regional Head must oversee the team's overall performance in wealth management products, managing sales teams, budgets, client acquisition, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Key challenges include staying up to date with market trends, tracking competitor activities, and balancing growth with intense market competition and elevated client expectations.
Critical competencies include comprehensive knowledge of wealth management products/services, effective communication skills, a proactive mindset, and strong customer and target focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the team to consistently achieve sales targets, particularly focusing on fee-generating service offerings to meet fee income goals.
- Develop and review periodic management information systems (MIS) reports by region, client, and product to monitor sales performance versus budget, analyze trends, and take corrective actions.
- Promote continuous skill development and team building through ongoing self-improvement, participation in relevant training and certifications, and fostering retention via recruitment, career progression plans, and performance-linked incentives.
- Analyze client portfolios and product positioning by reviewing customer profiles and financial advice provided by Relationship Managers (RMs); offer constructive feedback and recommend relevant solutions.
- Ensure superior client service standards by disseminating market research insights to HNI clients, collecting client feedback to improve research efforts, monitoring turnaround times (TATs) and service metrics, and driving necessary improvements.
