Position Overview
Lincoln Health is seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Regional Sales to spearhead revenue growth and market presence across a designated geographic region. Reporting to the Chief Revenue or Sales Officer, this executive will craft and implement regional sales plans, enhance revenue, expand market share, and lead a high-achieving sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute regional sales strategies that align with corporate goals and foster long-term growth.
- Oversee regional revenue, profitability, and market development objectives.
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales organization committed to sustainable expansion.
- Produce annual sales plans, business strategies, and market execution initiatives.
- Advise the executive team on market trends, competition, customer requirements, and sales outcomes.
- Represent the organization at top-level meetings, industry events, and partner engagements.
- Promote a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, and customer success.
- Contribute to the broader global sales strategy and corporate planning efforts.
- Achieve or exceed quarterly and yearly regional revenue benchmarks.
- Drive new customer acquisition and grow existing accounts by increasing recurring revenues (ARR and MRR).
- Plan territory and market penetration tactics effectively.
- Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from lead identification to contract finalization.
- Enhance pipeline generation, conversion rates, and sales wins.
- Broaden strategic alliances and channel sales avenues.
- Manage executive-level relationships with key enterprise customers and coordinate account growth plans.
- Work with Customer Success to maximize renewals, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
- Handle executive escalations and high-stake negotiations ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate across departments including Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Legal, and more to support launches, pricing, and campaigns.
- Lead performance measurement through KPIs such as regional revenue, sales growth rate, pipeline metrics, quota attainment, retention rates, and forecast accuracy.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop sales leadership and staff while fostering an environment of continuous growth and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Over 20 years in enterprise and regional sales with at least 10 years managing regional or global sales teams.
- Demonstrated record of surpassing multimillion-dollar revenue targets and leading enterprise sales operations.
- Experience across SaaS, FinTech, Blockchain, AI, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or comparable high-growth tech sectors strongly desired.
- Proficiency in strategic account management, forecasting, territory planning, and sales operations.
- Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications & Tools
- Sales leadership and sales methodology certifications such as CSLP, MEDDICC, Challenger Sales.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Gong, Clari, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Tableau, Power BI, and advanced Excel skills.
