Job Purpose

The Regional Security Lead acts as the protector of physical spaces within the assigned region, ensuring offices provide a safe environment where teams can operate without safety concerns. This role involves leading security operations regionally, managing ground personnel, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and creating systems aimed at preventing security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement security policies to safeguard personnel, offices, and assets within the region.
  • Conduct ongoing security evaluations to detect vulnerabilities and develop innovative risk reduction strategies.
  • Supervise and mentor security guards and armed police personnel to ensure professional and respectful conduct.
  • Serve as the principal contact with law enforcement and emergency services, fostering collaborative relations during incidents.
  • Lead investigations and responses to security breaches and accidents, producing clear and objective reports to enhance future security measures.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs to educate security staff and employees on vital safety protocols.
  • Stay updated with the latest security technologies and trends, such as CCTV and access control systems, to maintain modern and resilient regional security operations.
  • Provide expert advice on asset recovery and fraud investigation, supporting business continuity.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience leading security teams either at guard services firms or as a supervisor within military, police, or paramilitary organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related disciplines.
  • Holder of recognized security certifications like CPP, PSP, or CPO.
  • Must have a clean criminal record and pass thorough background screening.
  • Fluency in local dialects of major tribes within the region to ensure effective community interaction.
  • Experience operating automated security systems such as CCTV and burglary alarms.

  • Communicates clearly and builds trust across all levels, from security personnel to executives, without relying on jargon.
