Role Summary

QIMA is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the food testing space within the food industry. The role requires a background in TIC services, specifically selling food testing services, with at least 6 years of relevant experience. The right candidate will have a strong record of spotting opportunities, developing relationships, and converting prospects into business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a regional sales strategy aimed at food industry clients and business expansion.
  • Generate new business through existing accounts, cold outreach, networking, and market intelligence.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers in the food sector.
  • Prepare customized presentations and commercial proposals for prospective customers.
  • Lead negotiations and close agreements that support or exceed revenue goals.
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams to improve client experience and service delivery.
  • Track sales activity, report progress, and share regular updates with senior leadership.
  • Supervise and guide a team of sales representatives.
  • Assess market movements and competitor actions to shape sales tactics and business decisions.
  • Build relationships with food manufacturers, processors, exporters, importers, regulatory bodies, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members through performance reviews and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of sales experience in ISO 17025:2017 accredited laboratories serving the food testing segment.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and closing deals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Practical, hands-on work style.
  • Comfort with computers, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Profile

  • Direct experience selling food testing services to food industry customers.
  • A strong existing network within the food industry.
