Job description
Role Overview
This opening is for a Regional Sales Manager responsible for driving growth across a defined territory in the Southeast US. The position is centered on building customer relationships, uncovering new business, and expanding revenue within existing accounts. It suits a sales professional who prefers direct customer engagement and enjoys developing long-term partnerships.
The role offers ownership of a territory and close collaboration with internal sales, operations, and engineering teams to support market expansion and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of sales activity across the Southeast US, including Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and surrounding areas.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, distributors, and strategic partners in the assigned region.
- Identify fresh business prospects while also increasing business from current accounts.
- Visit customers regularly, discuss products, and deliver demonstrations that help move sales forward.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade-related gatherings.
- Keep the CRM updated with customer interactions, open opportunities, and follow-up actions.
- Work with internal teams on pricing conversations, forecasts, and customer needs.
- Submit weekly updates on activities along with territory planning reports.
- Track market movement within the territory and look for ways to increase market share.
- Follow up on inbound leads and assist with regional marketing efforts.
- Pass along customer feedback and market intelligence to the relevant internal teams.
- Offer basic product troubleshooting or customer support when required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in outside sales within truck components or heavy-duty trucking. Hands-on experience with hydraulics is highly valued. Success in this role depends on building trust, staying consistent with follow-through, and maintaining a customer-first approach.
Applicants should be self-driven, comfortable traveling for work, and eager to grow with the business.
Why This Role Stands Out
- Opportunity to join an established market leader with significant room for both territory and career growth.
- A collaborative, team-oriented environment where support is available across the business.
- Exposure to a product line that is already gaining strong traction in the market.
Additional Notes
This is a field-based, full-time role in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The role is designed for someone who prefers building and growing business rather than simply maintaining it.
