Role Overview
The Regional Sales Director for Southeast Asia will lead regional growth, shape market-entry and expansion plans, manage key commercial priorities, and drive performance across sales, profit, and market-share goals. The role also requires active work on new product promotion, customer relationships, team leadership, and service-process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create the sales roadmap, expansion plan, and budget distribution for Southeast Asia in line with the company’s broader strategy and annual operating plan.
- Own regional targets related to sales volume, profitability, and market share, and deliver on ambitious growth objectives.
- Lead promotion of core business lines and new offerings in Southeast Asia while identifying untapped demand and commercial opportunities overseas.
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with major customers, visit priority markets regularly, and monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Improve customer experience by simplifying internal processes for order handling, shipment tracking, and complaint resolution.
- Set up, manage, and review the performance of the regional sales organization and handle broader team-management responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of sales experience in the paper industry, including people-management experience.
- Willingness to relocate if required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong commercial judgment and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English; Chinese language skills are an added advantage.
- Availability for frequent travel within the country or wider region.
