Prime Healthcare is looking to expand its corporate team with a Regional Physician Recruiter.
Role Overview
This role owns the end-to-end recruitment process for providers, including MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs, across multiple position types such as PRN, part-time, and full-time roles for Prime hospitals and medical groups. The position requires a quick pace, strong prioritization, and the ability to stay organized in a constantly changing environment. This is an onsite role at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities
Manage provider recruitment activities across the region and support hiring for hospital and medical group needs.
Handle recruiting for a range of provider types and employment arrangements, including PRN, part-time, and full-time openings.
Coordinate travel throughout the region to meet with prospective physicians and other provider candidates.
Draft physician employment contracts and support the negotiation process.
Recruit physicians for employed positions and engage passive candidates effectively.
Work closely in a fast-moving, team-based environment while keeping priorities aligned with changing needs.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should bring 3 to 5 years of professional physician recruiting experience.
Strong working knowledge of physician compensation structures is needed.
Comfort using Microsoft Office applications is required.
The role calls for excellent interpersonal ability, strong communication, confidentiality, time management, and negotiation skills.
Candidates must be able to juggle multiple priorities, perform well under pressure, and remain highly driven, goal-focused, and results-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related subject is preferred.
Experience with corporate recruiting or agency recruiting is an advantage.
The ideal candidate can use good judgment, exercise discretion, and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual compensation for this position is between $72,800 and $101,712. Final pay will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
