Job description
Company Overview
Osprey Investment Company is a real estate holding and investment firm dedicated to building long-term value through thoughtful property ownership and disciplined investing. Its portfolio spans multiple real estate assets, with a focus on acquisition quality, operational excellence, and active asset management. The organization works to improve property performance and generate solid returns through data-led decisions and steady growth. Cross-functional teamwork is central to how the company supports sustainable success in the real estate sector.
Role Overview
The Regional Operations Director is a full-time remote position responsible for driving operational results across a group of properties within an assigned region. The role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations through local teams or external partners, tracking performance metrics, and rolling out standard processes that improve consistency and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
This position involves reviewing operational and financial performance data, building and managing budgets, and finding ways to strengthen occupancy, revenue, and cost discipline. The director will work closely with asset management, finance, and investment teams to advance strategic priorities and support property-level business plans. The role also includes guiding regional teams, offering coaching and performance feedback, maintaining strong customer service standards, and helping resolve elevated issues involving residents, tenants, or partners.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings strong multi-site operations leadership, with hands-on experience establishing procedures, KPIs, and repeatable operating standards across several locations. They should have solid analytical ability and financial judgment to interpret data, evaluate performance, and inform decisions. The role also requires team leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and collaboration across departments. Budget preparation and forecasting experience are important, along with the ability to monitor spending and improve financial outcomes. A service-oriented approach is essential for supporting positive tenant or resident experiences and handling escalations professionally. Prior exposure to real estate operations, asset management, or property management is strongly preferred. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills are needed, particularly in an independent remote work setting. A bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field is required; an advanced degree or certifications such as CPM or RPA are considered an advantage.
Additional Information
This role is described as full-time and remote. No compensation, openings, start date, or application deadline were specified.
