Job description
About the company
Eriez has been a worldwide specialist in separation technologies since 1942, supporting industries to recover valuable materials, improve product quality and raise operational efficiency. For over six decades, Eriez Australia has worked with customers across mining, minerals processing, food, recycling, packaging and manufacturing, combining technical know-how, engineering capability and customer-focused service.
Operating across six continents, the business blends the scale of a global organisation with the responsiveness and culture of a local team, offering employees the chance to contribute meaningfully while building a long-term career.
About the role
This senior leadership position is based at the Welshpool office in Perth and carries complete responsibility for the Western region’s strategic direction, commercial results and operational performance.
The role goes well beyond standard branch leadership. You will guide a multi-disciplinary team across Sales, Service and Administration while influencing the future direction of one of the company’s most important regions.
As the regional leader, you will be accountable for sustainable growth, leadership development, stronger customer relationships and operational excellence across the business.
You will oversee the full commercial front end, including Capital Sales, Aftermarket Sales, Business Development, Service, operational leadership, customer experience and Project Management.
Working with the Executive Leadership Team, you will help identify market opportunities, lift operational performance and support initiatives that drive long-term growth across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Set the direction for the Western Region and take full ownership of commercial performance, operations and profit and loss outcomes.
- Grow the business by strengthening customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and expanding presence in priority industries.
- Coach, lead and develop a strong team across Sales, Service and Administration, while building leadership depth and succession capability.
- Improve business performance through better processes, governance, safety, customer experience and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customers, global principals, EPCs, OEMs, universities and industry associations.
- Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team on strategic initiatives that support growth, operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
About you
You are a genuine leader who enjoys building both businesses and people. You perform well in commercially driven environments where you can shape strategy, develop customer partnerships and lead strong teams.
You are confident making decisions, creating accountability and fostering a workplace culture where people are engaged and perform at their best.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading a business unit or regional operation with responsibility for commercial results, people leadership and operational delivery.
- Strong business and commercial judgement, with a proven ability to increase revenue, deepen client relationships and deliver steady growth.
- Background in leading technical or engineering teams in industrial, mining, manufacturing, process or capital equipment settings.
- Tertiary study in Engineering, Business or a similar field is preferred.
- Experience in Australian industrial sales, capital equipment, service, aftermarket or channel development will be an advantage.
- Applicants must be able to address in their cover letter how they would build relationships, manage the transition to the new Western Region operating model, deliver profitable growth, develop future leaders and embed safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Applications are assessed as they are received, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
