About the Role
The Regional Manager for International Motors (Mitsubishi Motors UK) is primarily responsible for driving growth, enhancing performance, and ensuring operational excellence within a multi-brand dealer network across the designated territory in the South East of the UK. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this field-based role demands managing dealer partners daily to meet critical business goals including wholesale and retail sales, aftersales service, customer satisfaction, profitability, compliance, and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial performance by achieving sales targets for wholesale, retail, parts, and accessories within the region.
- Facilitate dealer partner development via coaching, mentoring, and operational support to promote effectiveness and profitability.
- Analyze sales and performance metrics to implement strategic improvement plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Aftersales to maximize regional success.
- Drive network growth by recruiting and onboarding new dealers, managing dealership openings, relocations, and transitions.
- Enforce franchise standards, governance, and compliance, ensuring adherence to agreements and operational policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with dealer principals, senior management, and internal stakeholders while acting as a brand ambassador.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to capitalize on local business opportunities.
- Support multiple territories when needed and adapt to flexible scheduling including occasional weekend and international travel.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive experience in the automotive sector, preferably with OEMs or franchise dealership operations.
- Proven track record in managing franchised dealer networks or senior-level dealership management.
- Comprehensive understanding of dealership KPIs, financials, and operational metrics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.
- Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Additional Information
- Work hours amount to 37.5 per week.
