About the Role

This dynamic position is based in Accra, Ghana, focusing on leading logistics transformation initiatives across the CWAR region. The role entails managing continuous process improvements to elevate operational efficiency and agility in response to evolving business demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement projects to heighten efficiency and operational effectiveness in logistics.
- Oversee regional logistics undertakings spanning transportation, warehousing, quality assurance, and safety.
- Provide guidance to market teams for implementing process enhancements and deploying GLOBE digital solutions.
- Track and report project progress to critical stakeholders regularly.
- Promote team engagement aligned with Nestlé's leadership and management principles.
- Serve as a primary contact for resolving system and operations challenges, collaborating with offshore teams as necessary.
- Validate and advise on GLOBE role assignments ensuring compliance and optimal system use.
- Assist market operations with system adoption and smooth utilization of digital logistics tools.
- Participate in validating system enhancements and ensure operational readiness prior to launch.
- Identify workforce skill gaps and support training and development activities across markets.
- Coach super-user networks to build expertise and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Deliver training sessions and contribute to refining processes.
- Support initiatives on automation and digitalization aimed at optimizing logistics efficiency and reducing distribution costs.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Robust experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, especially in transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Proven project management and data analytics skills with expertise in managing regional data and deriving insights.
- Required expertise or certification in Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Strong operational focus with capability in delivering ongoing process improvements.
- Able to work effectively across various markets and adapt to diverse operational settings.
- Experience liaising between regional and global or zonal stakeholders.
- Cost-focused mindset with successful track record in cost-saving initiatives.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- High competency in stakeholder management, influencing cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Familiarity with SAP and experience with system support or transformation projects.
- Background in business analysis, super-user roles, or process support within supply chain environments.
- Exposure to distribution network optimization and logistics projects centered on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrates agility in learning, adaptability, and prioritizing competing demands.
- Exhibits initiative, strong ownership, and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Collaborative with strong teamwork abilities in cross-functional environments.
