Job description

Role Overview

CoralVita Healthcare Group is hiring a senior healthcare operations leader to oversee several sites across its organization. This opportunity is suited to someone who thrives in a people-first, fast-expanding environment and enjoys having the autonomy to drive meaningful results. The role calls for a strong focus on quality care, positive patient and resident outcomes, and performance against key metrics that support program success.

The Regional Director of Operations will report to the Enterprise CEO and will be responsible for guiding facility leaders, maintaining consistent standards, and ensuring strong operational, financial, and compliance performance across the assigned region. The position requires close collaboration with executive, clinical, finance, compliance, HR, IT, business development, and support teams to improve execution, stability, growth, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day and strategic operations across multiple facilities in the assigned region while keeping organizational priorities and expectations on track.
  • Work alongside facility leadership to improve performance, quality outcomes, compliance, staffing stability, census growth, and financial results.
  • Track and analyze core operating measures such as census, labor productivity, staffing, costs, revenue, quality indicators, incident patterns, survey readiness, and client or resident satisfaction.
  • Ensure facility leaders meet standards for service delivery, budgets, workforce engagement, compliance, and corrective action follow-through.
  • Maintain regulatory readiness and confirm adherence to federal, state, licensing, accreditation, payer, and internal requirements.
  • Drive regional improvement efforts focused on care quality, efficiency, risk control, staff retention, and financial stewardship.
  • Coordinate with clinical, compliance, finance, HR, IT, and business development teams to remove barriers and advance enterprise goals.
  • Support census building, referral partnerships, payer performance, service-line expansion, and market positioning for the region.
  • Step in during surveys, audits, investigations, critical events, staffing shortages, transitions, and other urgent operational situations.
  • Coach, develop, and assess facility leaders while promoting accountability, collaboration, compliance, continuous improvement, and person-centered care.

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Human Services, or a related discipline is required; a master’s degree is preferred.

The role calls for 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare operations leadership experience, including oversight of multiple facilities or service locations.

Experience should include successful leadership in a multi-site healthcare setting, ideally in post-acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or a comparable environment.

Strong working knowledge is needed in healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, licensing, quality management, risk reduction, staffing models, budget oversight, and performance improvement.

Applicants should have experience leading facility managers, improving operational results, growing census or services, and partnering across clinical, compliance, finance, HR, and business development teams.

Professional licensure or a healthcare administrator certification is preferred.

Work Environment

This position supports a dynamic healthcare organization with post-acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation services. Regular travel to regional facilities and corporate offices is required.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and HSA coverage
  • Employer-paid life insurance, with an optional voluntary buy-up
  • Critical illness, hospital indemnity, and short-term and long-term disability coverage options
  • Employee assistance program
  • Employee discount program
  • Employer-paid will, trust, and power of attorney preparation services
  • Executive PTO accrual

Additional Information

This position is focused on multi-site healthcare leadership, operational accountability, regulatory readiness, and building a culture of improvement and high-quality care across the region.
