Founded in 2019 by four endodontists, the company initially centered support on endodontics practices (under the Endo1 brand) before expanding services to include periodontics and oral surgery practices. Role Objective and Scope

The Regional Director of Operations will oversee multiple dental practices within the assigned territory comprising CT, MA, NH, VT, ME, and Upstate/Western NY. This includes approximately 14 practices, more than 36 providers, and annual revenue around $54.5 million. The role's focus is to ensure operational efficiency, financial health, regulatory compliance, and drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement monthly travel schedules to visit direct reports and partner practices.
  • Forge strong partnerships with doctors, practice leaders, and team members across locations.
  • Facilitate onboarding and development of new associates through consistent engagement and monitoring.
  • Lead weekly field visits, setting an example while engaging with entire teams.
  • Analyze and improve areas such as financial management, human resources, recruitment, revenue cycle, accounts payable, procurement, and marketing.
  • Advocate and execute change management initiatives to standardize processes and promote growth.
  • Effectively communicate organizational strategies and changes to leadership and teams to ensure alignment and smooth adoption.
  • Mentor office managers and practice leaders while aligning individualized development plans for growth.
  • Conduct frequent one-on-one meetings to build rapport and establish measurable goals.
  • Identify opportunities for organic practice growth, controlling costs and enhancing profitability.
  • Implement and monitor monthly operational reviews, design SMART action plans, and address performance hotspots.
  • Detect operational inefficiencies and disseminate best practices to foster growth.
  • Collaborate with compliance teams and leadership to uphold regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Promote employee retention and engagement, championing company-wide initiatives.
  • Lead coding initiatives ensuring the effective execution of recommended changes.
  • Align Management by Objectives goals with best practices and practice optimization efforts.
  • Maintain close collaboration with the VP of Operations to meet objectives, standardize workflows, and facilitate interdepartmental communication.
  • Approve practice operations and escalate significant decisions to VP for final authorization.
  • Oversee the review and approval processes for employee bonuses and salary increases with executive leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of three to five years of leadership experience within healthcare, preferably overseeing dental or medical practice operations.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple sites and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related discipline.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead change.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in financial oversight, including understanding profit and loss statements.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory compliance and healthcare standards.
  • Experience with practice management software and relevant technological tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to various practice locations.
  • High personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Dedication to employee growth and retention strategies.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Strategic thinker focused on continuous operational improvement.
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
