Role overview

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is hiring a seasoned Regional Director of Operations to support its team on the north side of Chicago in Skokie, Illinois. This leadership role focuses on running the day-to-day activities across healthcare facilities, maintaining high standards of patient care, and supporting overall growth of the business.

Core responsibilities

  • Manage the daily functioning of several healthcare locations while making sure company policies and regulatory obligations are followed.
  • Create and roll out operating plans that strengthen business performance and contribute to better patient results.
  • Promote a workplace culture centered on strong patient service, teamwork, and clear communication.
  • Develop productive working relationships with patients, family members, and healthcare partners.
  • Spot opportunities to improve workflows, then introduce changes that increase efficiency and lower expenses.
  • Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Guide and support facility managers and team members, including training and professional development.
  • Work closely with leaders from other departments on organization-wide projects and long-term planning.
  • Take part in quality improvement efforts and ensure continued alignment with industry expectations and regulatory standards.

What the employer is looking for

  • At least 4 years of background in healthcare operations management, ideally in a leadership capacity.
  • A demonstrated history of helping organizations grow while improving patient outcomes.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capability to encourage and direct staff effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially for identifying process improvements.
  • An active Illinois NHA license is required.
