Role Overview

The position of Regional Director - Asset Management is a part-time, on-site role located in Carmel, Indiana. This role entails managing a region-specific portfolio of farmland properties by monitoring performance indicators, coordinating activities with farm operators, and ensuring adherence to lease agreements and operational standards. The Regional Director is tasked with analyzing financial and production data to uncover opportunities for boosting asset value and to support critical investment decisions involving acquisitions, sales, and capital projects. Responsibilities also include performing site inspections, generating detailed reports for senior management and clients, and working collaboratively with investment and finance teams to align asset management strategies with overarching portfolio goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in analyzing financial, operational, and agricultural market data relevant to farmland.
  • Experience in investment evaluation, particularly within agricultural or real asset domains.
  • Background in property management, including lease administration, tenant engagement, and operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated expertise in asset management relating to agriculture, commercial real estate, or similar assets.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, agriculture, economics, or related fields; advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Availability to work on-site in Carmel, IN, including routine property visitation and active collaboration with various internal teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities with operators, partners, and clients.
  • Knowledge of agriculture markets, farm operational processes, or rural property management is highly desirable.
