Job description
Role Overview
Tesla is looking for a seasoned and highly strategic Regional Campaign Lead to support the North America Sales and Delivery Organization and partner with the Field Sales team. This role is focused on designing, launching, and improving regional outbound campaigns and programs that strengthen brand visibility and expand market reach. The scope includes, but is not limited to, growing events, self-serve initiatives, and media opportunities.
This is a high-impact position for someone who can scale top-of-funnel programs across a region, align multiple teams around shared goals, and use performance data and KPIs to continuously improve results. You will work closely with internal partners from planning through execution to help drive regional market share growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of regional planning, coordination, and delivery for major events, media opportunities, and self-serve expansion, ensuring all work supports leadership priorities, business goals, and stakeholder needs.
- Use sound independent judgment to address operational or logistical issues that come up during planning or execution, always choosing solutions that serve Tesla’s best interests.
- Build and manage relationships with vendors, business partners, local media, and cross-functional teams to improve event operations, strengthen community engagement, and support regional expansion.
- Negotiate with external partners and bring high-value opportunities forward to leadership that help accelerate Tesla’s mission.
- Track event performance, review outcomes after each event, and apply data-backed learnings to improve processes and scale effective regional programs.
- Act as a regional lead for top-of-funnel initiatives by sharing strategic recommendations and insights that help shape growth planning.
- Oversee regional budgets and allocate resources efficiently to support market growth objectives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or has equivalent experience, along with at least 4 years of experience in demand generation or strategic program management. About 75% of the role centers on strategic planning, stakeholder management, and budget optimization.
You should have a strong background in planning, executing, and improving demand generation programs, including experience advising senior leaders. Comfort with negotiating vendor agreements and contracts independently, along with solid budget management skills for scalable top-of-funnel programs, is important.
Success in this role also requires strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with Tesla’s mission, the customer journey, and the sales cycle is highly beneficial.
In addition, strong analytical ability is needed to assess opportunities using data, trends, and measurement tools to understand program effectiveness. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role may involve evening, weekend, and holiday work as needed, plus travel of up to 50%.
Benefits
As a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for benefits starting on day 1 of employment. These include medical plan options with $0 payroll deduction, family-building support, fertility, adoption, and surrogacy benefits, and dental and vision coverage with $0 paycheck contribution options.
Additional offerings include a company-paid Health Savings Account contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA, Healthcare and Dependent Care FSAs, a 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, company-paid basic life and AD&D, short-term and long-term disability insurance with a 90-day waiting period, and an Employee Assistance Program.
You will also have access to sick and vacation time, paid holidays, back-up childcare and parenting support resources, voluntary benefits such as critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft and legal services, and pet insurance, along with weight loss and tobacco cessation programs, the Tesla Babies program, commuter benefits, and employee discounts and perks.
Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite role based in Austin, TX. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required as needed. Travel of up to 50% is also expected.
