This leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering marketing programs that build the Sandhurst brand, support growth across retail and foodservice channels, and strengthen engagement with important customer groups.
What you will do
You will own the planning and execution of marketing activity, oversee campaign and brand development, manage budgets, and help coordinate initiatives across sales, product, and operations teams.
The role also includes reviewing market movements and consumer behaviour, leading research efforts, maintaining clear and consistent communication across digital, print, trade, and PR channels, and tracking campaign results and return on investment for senior stakeholders.
In addition, you will guide and develop the marketing team, manage external agencies and partners, and contribute to broader commercial growth objectives.
Qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate brings strong capability in market planning and marketing leadership, with a proven record of designing and rolling out integrated marketing strategies.
You should have solid experience in market research and consumer insight work, with the ability to translate findings into practical actions.
Experience working with sales teams, commercial thinking, and supporting channel growth through focused marketing activity is important.
Strong public relations skills, brand storytelling ability, and experience managing external communications are also valued.
Background in FMCG, food, or consumer products is highly desirable, especially within the Australian market.
You should also have people leadership experience, a collaborative and inclusive management style, and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar field is required; postgraduate study would be an advantage.
Work style
The role is based in Sydney and is suited to someone comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
