Job description
Role Overview
Tesla is looking for a seasoned and strategic Regional Campaign Lead to support its North America Sales and Delivery Organization and partner with the Field Sales team. This role is focused on building, running, and continuously improving regional outbound programs that strengthen brand visibility and expand market reach, including event-based initiatives, self-serve growth efforts, and media opportunities.
The position offers the chance to scale several important top-of-funnel programs that can influence regional growth at scale. Success in this role depends on strong cross-functional coordination, the ability to guide complex workstreams, and a sharp focus on performance metrics and KPIs. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure each initiative is executed effectively from planning through completion.
Responsibilities
- Own the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-impact regional events, media initiatives, and self-serve expansion efforts, making sure they align with leadership priorities, business goals, and stakeholder expectations.
- Use independent judgment to address logistical or operational issues that come up during event planning or execution, always choosing solutions that support Tesla’s best interests.
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners, vendors, local media, and cross-functional collaborators to improve event operations, resource support, and community engagement while contributing to regional growth.
- Negotiate with external stakeholders and present promising opportunities to leadership that can materially advance Tesla’s mission.
- Track event performance, review outcomes after each event, and apply data-backed learnings to improve processes and expand successful regional strategies.
- Serve as a regional lead for top-of-funnel programs, offering strategic recommendations and insights that help leadership shape growth direction.
- Manage regional budgets and allocate resources efficiently to support broader growth objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Project Management, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience, along with at least 4 years of experience in demand generation or strategic program management.
- Strong background in planning, executing, and optimizing demand generation programs, including experience advising senior leaders.
- Experience handling vendor partnerships and contract negotiations with little oversight, plus solid budget management skills for scalable top-of-funnel initiatives.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage relationships across internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with Tesla’s mission and an understanding of the customer journey and sales cycle are strongly preferred.
- Advanced analytical capability to assess opportunities using data, trends, and measurement tools to evaluate program performance.
- Valid driver’s license, willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed, and ability to travel up to 50%.
