Regional Business Manager - Group G2R

Job purpose

This position is focused on expanding business and sales for Group 2 Retail Term Policy by working through brokers as well as direct customer acquisition. The role calls for creating and executing sales plans, nurturing strong partnerships with brokers and clients, and following internal policies and procedures closely.

Key responsibilities

• Identify fresh business opportunities in the target market and convert them into revenue.
• Develop and sustain productive relationships with important brokers and direct clients.
• Review broker performance regularly to spot improvement areas and act on them.
• Design and carry out sales strategies and action plans to meet business targets.
• Create engagement plans that increase participation in G2R programs among corporate clients.
• Deliver presentations and webinars to help corporate employees understand the value of G2R policies.
• Use feedback tools to learn employee preferences and adjust enrolment approaches accordingly.
• Plan and run digital marketing efforts to promote G2R policies within corporate accounts.
• Maintain strong working relationships with HR teams and benefits managers at client organizations.
• Support corporate clients throughout enrolment and administration for G2R policies.
• Respond quickly and professionally to client questions and concerns.
• Spot possible client issues early and take action before they escalate.

Required skills and qualifications

• Background in sales, employee engagement, or benefits administration, ideally in insurance or corporate benefits.
• Good grasp of digital marketing and sales fulfilment methods.
• Strong presentation and communication ability with experience engaging varied audiences.
• Working knowledge of the insurance sector, especially Group Term and Retail Term Policy.
• Prior exposure to webinars and online presentations.
