The role of Regional Training Manager is integral to enhancing the capabilities of Direct Sales Executives (DSE) and Sales Managers. This position focuses on delivering induction and ongoing development training aimed at improving sales and renewal targets, thereby boosting territorial productivity.

Job Scope and Challenges

The impact area of the role includes managing training for multiple branches distributed over diverse geographical locations. Key challenges include encouraging participation from advisors not on the payroll who are reluctant to invest time for skill enhancement, managing a broad team across widespread locations, dealing with limited training infrastructure, and insufficient enablers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the training framework across the assigned region to ensure effective learning that develops capabilities and improves performance.
• Positively engage stakeholders in the designated units to achieve new sales and renewal targets.
• Ensure strict compliance with the Training Architecture designed for DSEs and Sales Managers.
• Maintain a minimum of 12 training man-days per month excluding fieldwork, complete all necessary documentation in STMS and other reporting tools.
• Enhance the examination pass rates of DSEs by facilitating suitable training interventions.
• Collaborate with business units to identify training needs within the region and create relevant content to fill skill gaps.
• Assess the effectiveness of all training programs conducted by self, direct reports, external vendors, and via e-learning platforms.
