Role overview

The Regional Brand Specialist for Northern Europe will support brand launches and execute marketing plans that influence business outcomes in France and Germany. This position is German-speaking and plays a hands-on role in adapting global initiatives to local market needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the main regional marketing contact for France and Germany, making sure global direction is aligned with local requirements.
  • Help plan and roll out global product launches by bringing market knowledge and competitor intelligence into brand planning.
  • Coordinate launch-preparedness work so deadlines and deliverables stay on track.
  • Represent the needs of local markets in regional discussions.
  • Deliver tactical execution, localisation, and rollout of global brand plans across all channels.
  • Adapt and localise promotional content in line with global standards and guidance.
  • Build local brand plans and contribute to tactical activities such as sales materials, digital initiatives, and events.
  • Review and confirm core product messages so localisation remains accurate.
  • Handle asset approval and compliance workflows according to local regulatory rules, including ANSM submissions where relevant.
  • Partner with external agencies to create and produce printed and other marketing materials.
  • Work with General Managers and Commercial teams to implement local marketing strategy.
  • Create training resources and support presentation development for training sessions.
  • Ensure field teams have the tools they need and act as the main contact for feedback and material requests.
  • Track the effectiveness of materials and turn findings into improved execution.
  • Work closely with global marketing, medical affairs, market access, and regional commercial teams on marketing projects.
  • Maintain strong therapeutic-area knowledge and build credibility with physicians.
  • Attend local congresses and support KOL engagement together with Medical Affairs.
  • Share updates with Global Marketing and exchange best practices with other brand managers.

Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as life sciences, business, or marketing; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial roles, including 1 to 3 years in operational marketing within the EU.
  • Strong practical experience across marketing disciplines, including both offline and digital channels.
  • Experience submitting compliant promotional material to ANSM.
  • Working understanding of the therapeutic area’s medical context, with the willingness to build deeper expertise.
  • Professional fluency in English, spoken and written.
  • French and/or German language proficiency.
  • Very strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
