Overview
British Airways, the UK's premier flag carrier with over a century of pioneering international air service, invites you to join their Worldwide Airports Europe Leadership Team in the pivotal role of Regional Airports Manager for Eastern Europe. This position is based in the UK and involves frequent travel throughout Eastern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of the performance of Airport Managers across Eastern Europe, empowering them to make prompt, customer-focused, and commercially sound decisions.
- Facilitate strong safety outcomes through effective utilization of Safety Management System tools.
- Lead and motivate airport teams, delivering and shaping the regional customer service strategy.
- Manage supplier performance in partnership with the Regional Supplier team, ensuring consistent adherence to business expectations.
- Develop and manage the Eastern Europe business plan, from initiative identification to implementation and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with the Regional General Manager to monitor trends, risks, and opportunities, promoting continuous safety, operational, and customer service enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- A people-focused leader skilled at inspiring, motivating, and empowering dispersed teams through trust and accountability.
- Extensive knowledge of airport operations in complex, high-volume settings, with demonstrated success above and below the wing.
- Ability to influence various stakeholders, working collaboratively with suppliers, airport authorities, and internal partners to ensure alignment and results.
- Strong data-driven decision-making aptitude, proficient in Excel, AI integration, and effectively communicating insights to senior leaders.
- Proven experience managing multifaceted programs in dynamic operational environments that anticipate challenges and foster a resilient, excellence-driven culture.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills adaptable to diverse operational and strategic contexts.

Additional Information
