Role Overview
The Talent Statistician for Recurring Remote Production Support Content plays a crucial role in shaping the broadcast of sports events by relaying critical statistics and game narratives to announcers and graphics producers. This remote-based position requires a highly motivated individual capable of researching and preparing key storylines, understanding rules, matchup histories, and potential records on a game-by-game basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to understand team storylines and relevant statistics.
- Verify starting lineups, officials, and other vital pregame information for the production crew.
- Describe previous plays accurately, including involved players, positions, uniform numbers, and outcomes.
- Spot trends and statistics that enhance the storytelling of the game.
- Communicate stats and trends effectively to announcers without disrupting the flow of broadcast and respond to their queries.
- Relay concise statistical information and trends to Graphics Producers via headset.
- Provide support to Graphics Producers by supplying essential information from prior plays.
- Collaborate with teams’ SID/PR personnel to gather or clarify high-priority information.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Basic understanding of sports, including game format and rules.
- Ability to follow in-game trends carefully.
- Exceptional attention to detail aimed at 100% accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers an hourly pay range between $35 and $65, varying by location, experience, knowledge, and skills. Additional benefits may include medical, financial, and others contingent on the position level.
