Recruitment Resourcer - Labour & Trades Team

About the Role

SSO Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organized Recruitment Resourcer to become part of their busy Labour and Trades team. This vital position involves identifying and sourcing top candidates for roles including labourers, general operatives, and skilled trades personnel within the construction and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively sourcing candidates using platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, CV databases, and multiple other recruitment sources.
• Screening resumes and conducting initial telephone conversations with potential candidates.
• Developing and managing a robust pool of Labourers, Groundworkers, Skilled Trades, and General Operatives.
• Assisting Recruitment Consultants by coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications.
• Maintaining and updating candidate records to ensure database accuracy.
• Supporting job advertisement initiatives and handling incoming applicant responses.

Requirements

• Prior experience in recruitment, particularly in sourcing or resourcing roles, is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent organizational abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously within a dynamic, target-oriented environment.
• A motivated work ethic accompanied by a proactive and positive approach.
• Experience within construction or trades recruitment is advantageous though not mandatory.
