Role Overview

We are expanding our team and seeking a Recruitment Officer for a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract. This role involves overseeing the recruitment life cycle from vacancy approval through to onboarding. Working collaboratively with hiring managers, you will source talented candidates, lead recruitment campaigns, schedule and conduct interviews, coordinate pre-employment checks, and ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end recruitment for authorized positions across multiple departments.
  • Create engaging job advertisements and publish them on various recruitment platforms.
  • Screen candidate applications and conduct preliminary phone interviews to evaluate eligibility.
  • Arrange and participate in interviews alongside hiring managers.
  • Perform reference checks, manage compliance documentation, and oversee other pre-employment requirements.
  • Facilitate job offers and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain detailed recruitment records and generate reports on hiring activities and metrics.
  • Ensure recruitment procedures comply with organizational policies and legislative standards, promoting diversity and inclusivity.

The ideal candidate is an organised and driven recruitment professional who excels in relationship building and delivering exceptional service. You should be adept at managing multiple priorities, engaging confidently with various stakeholders, and fostering positive candidate interactions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment or coordinating high-volume recruitment processes.
  • Proven track record of managing the complete recruitment cycle.
  • Experience within the transport and logistics sector is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills enabling simultaneous management of several vacancies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
