Role Overview

In response to ongoing expansion, Goldstar Transport seeks a dedicated and dependable General Hand to join their workshop team. This role involves hands-on tasks focused on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the fleet and workshop, ensuring vehicles and the yard are prepared to a high standard for daily activities, while upholding a safe and orderly working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform washing and detailing of trucks, trailers, and company vehicles.
• Carry out parts runs and procure supplies as necessary.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Support daily operational and general tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience in a similar position is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must possess a current manual driver's license; a heavy rigid (HR) license is highly preferred.
• Willingness to work weekend shifts as required.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong focus on safety are essential.
• Physical capability to manage demanding manual labor tasks.
