  • Build and support a broad candidate network with both immediate hiring needs and longer-term career goals.
  • Keep candidate records complete, updated, and reliable.

Client engagement

  • Meet and communicate with prospective clients, and stay in touch with both new and existing accounts to build lasting relationships.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, workplace culture, and hiring requirements, then recommend suitable staffing solutions.
  • Advise clients on the range of services and solutions available.
  • Share candidate profiles for active vacancies as well as speculative opportunities.

  • Work within short response timelines for screening, ad responses, and reference checks.
  • Oversee the interview process from screening through interviews, feedback, and remuneration discussions.
  • Keep the company database fully updated with all client and candidate interactions.
  • Support and contribute to candidate and client events and related activities.

Business development and market insight

  • Own and execute a business development plan within your specialist area.
  • Generate new business through proactive outreach and commercial activity.
  • Build strong internal working relationships across divisions and regions.
  • Develop a healthy business pipeline and consistently work toward revenue and performance targets.
  • Understand commercial terms and negotiate within agreed limits set by management.
  • Identify potential recruitment talent and refer suitable consultants to the business.
  • Strengthen market knowledge by attending specialist events and webinars.
