Job description

Role overview

Amazon is looking for a Recruiting Business Partner who can help attract exceptional talent and support hiring goals in a fast-moving, customer-focused environment. This role focuses on building strong sourcing channels, partnering closely with hiring managers, and moving searches to completion within demanding timelines. You will use data, benchmarks, and hiring metrics to shape talent attraction strategies and improve recruiting outcomes.

In this position, you will work alongside sourcers and recruiting coordinators on candidate search, placement, process improvements, and recruiting strategy. You will also serve as the primary partner for assigned business groups, helping create a service-focused environment that delivers efficient, high-quality support to internal customers and meets agreed service levels.

The ideal candidate is organized, decisive, and comfortable working under pressure. You should be able to prioritize multiple searches, push back when needed, manage deadlines, and maintain a strong sense of urgency while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Build and strengthen talent sourcing channels to support hiring needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Manage, prioritize, and close open searches within defined timelines.
  • Shape and execute talent attraction strategies using benchmarks and recruiting metrics.
  • Partner with sourcers and recruiting coordinators on candidate generation and placement.
  • Support recruiting process improvements and strategy development.
  • Act as the main recruiting partner for assigned business groups.
  • Deliver responsive, service-oriented support that aligns with internal customer expectations and service-level agreements.
  • Use knowledge of talent acquisition and business functions to guide hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of progressive recruiting or research experience in a corporate or search firm setting.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience.
  • Experience using a contact management system or applicant tracking system to source, track, and manage candidates.
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume hiring as well as specialized niche roles.
  • Experience supporting or taking part in technology hiring events, mixers, meetups, or user group activities is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time well, set priorities, and work with urgency.
  • Comfortable with candidate generation, account management, and stakeholder partnership.
