About the Role
Channelplay Limited is seeking an energetic and results-driven Recruiter to become part of their expanding talent acquisition division. This position focuses on managing the entire recruitment lifecycle specifically for retail and field sales roles within Tamil Nadu, with an emphasis on positions related to electronics, mobile, home appliances, and laptops sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for retail and field sales openings.
- Identify and attract candidates via multiple channels including job portals, social media platforms, referrals, and other sourcing methods.
- Conduct initial screening, shortlist candidates, and organize interviews in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Develop and nurture an active talent pool to meet ongoing recruitment demands.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient and timely closures of roles.
- Maintain consistent follow-ups with candidates through the onboarding stage.
- Update and manage recruitment trackers to monitor progress against targets.
- Travel locally within Chennai and neighboring areas for recruitment drives and onsite hiring activities when necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in retail or large-scale bulk hiring.
- Specific background hiring for sales roles across electronics, field sales, mobiles, home appliances, or laptops domains.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet recruitment deadlines.
- Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as Naukri, Apna, OLX, WorkIndia, and Job Hai is advantageous.
