About the company

Sherwood Staffing Partners is an expanding recruiting firm focused on placing tax, audit, and finance talent with public accounting firms, while also supporting growing needs in construction and engineering. The team is lean, fast-moving, and performance-oriented, and they are seeking a resourceful sourcer to help manage increasing client demand.

Role overview

This position is a hands-on sourcing role where you will partner closely with the founder to find and connect with strong candidates for open roles in public accounting, geotechnical engineering, and construction. Your work will center on building talent pipelines, running targeted searches, and identifying promising prospects for the recruiting team to engage.

Key responsibilities

  • Use sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and ZoomInfo to identify potential candidates; access to these tools will be provided.
  • Create and manage candidate pipelines for active searches across the firm’s three core practice areas.
  • Review profiles against job criteria and surface strong matches for the recruiting team.
  • Write and send outreach messages to passive candidates.
  • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activity and pipeline progress through consistent reporting.

What the employer is looking for

  • Previous experience in sourcing or recruiting is preferred; agency recruiting experience is an added advantage.
  • Comfort using LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, or similar sourcing tools.
  • Ability to quickly understand specialized talent markets such as CPAs, geotechnical engineers, and construction professionals.
  • Strong written communication skills for candidate outreach.
  • A well-organized, self-directed approach and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Compensation and setup

The pay is $25 per hour on a 1099 independent contractor basis. A LinkedIn Recruiter Lite seat and a ZoomInfo seat will be provided. The role offers flexible remote work and the chance to grow with a young company that is actively expanding.
