Role Overview

The Associate Recruiter position is fully remote and integral to HealthFitness’ Talent Acquisition team. Candidates ideally available during Eastern or Central Time zone working hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are preferred. This role involves sourcing and recruiting highly skilled professionals in fields including fitness, wellness, athletic training, and aquatics, ensuring strong matches for client organizations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment by building candidate pipelines, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and qualifying applicants, and referring top prospects to hiring managers.
• Conduct intake meetings to clarify hiring needs and post job openings accordingly.
• Utilize diverse sourcing channels such as social media, AI recruiting tools, networking groups, and referrals to attract active and passive candidates.
• Handle candidate data in applicant tracking systems from application to disposition, including screening and issuing rejection communications when appropriate.
• Work closely with hiring managers to provide continuous recruitment support and assist with offer letter preparations.
• Maintain regular, personalized follow-up with candidates to foster engagement for future openings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in recruitment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, online recruiting platforms, and AI recruiting technology such as Workday and Paradox.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication abilities capable of interacting effectively across all levels within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with internet research and social networking platforms.

Compensation and Additional Information

The annual salary range for this role is $62,000 to $72,000, with the exact offer dependent on factors such as location, skills, and experience. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screening.
