Role overview
Larian Studios, known for award-winning role-playing games such as Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, is hiring a Recruiter for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role supports the studio’s continued growth as it builds new projects and looks for people who can help maintain the quality standards expected by its players.
Key responsibilities
- Create fresh sourcing approaches and recruitment plans to attract the right talent.
- Use a range of search techniques, including Boolean and X-ray methods, along with channels such as LinkedIn and Mobygames, to find suitable candidates.
- Assess and speak with both active job seekers and passive prospects.
- Keep candidate records organised in Lever, the company’s ATS.
- Represent the studio at local and remote networking events to build candidate relationships.
- Work closely with hiring managers and act as a trusted talent advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Help ensure applicants have a smooth, positive, and engaging experience.
- Keep building knowledge of the games recruiting space and stay current in the field.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in recruitment or talent sourcing in the games industry.
- Strong ability to work with multiple sourcing techniques and tools.
- Real enthusiasm for computer games and game development.
- Proven success working in partnership with hiring managers.
- Confidence in presenting Larian and its teams positively to prospective hires.
- Comfort using recruitment technologies such as ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Background as a recruiter or talent sourcer in the game industry.
- Fluent English and solid communication skills.
- Must be able to work onsite at the Dublin studio.
