Role Description
We seek individuals willing to capture first-person video footage of routine household tasks. By positioning a smartphone on your head, you document daily activities from your perspective. These recordings train AI and robotic systems to better interpret human interactions with everyday objects in realistic settings.
Typical Activities
- Filming your everyday chores such as dishwashing, vacuuming, walking the dog, folding clothes, gardening, and more
- Recording within personal spaces like your home, yard, garage, or workspace
- Following brief guidelines provided for each recording session
- Uploading completed videos via the designated project application
Essential Requirements
- Possess a smartphone or compatible camera device able to shoot at minimum 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second (e.g., iPhone 12 or newer, Google Pixel 6+, Samsung Galaxy S21+ with wide-angle lens)
- Attach the recording device at forehead or eye-level with a slight downward tilt to keep hands visible in the frame
- Use the designated "D&A" app for capturing and transferring recordings
- Ensure video content is clear, steady, well-illuminated, at least 15 seconds, and authentically shows intentional tasks without unnecessary stops or artificial actions
Why Participate?
- Earn income equivalent to up to $10 per hour while performing your normal household routines
- Enjoy flexible, project-based freelance work allowing you to choose recording sessions as fits your schedule
- Contribute to innovations that help AI and robotics better comprehend human-object interactions in daily life
