Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our Mental Health Care Division at Norris Green Community Hub in Liverpool. This role involves providing comprehensive receptionist and administrative support within an outpatient setting for adults managing mental health challenges. You will deliver high-quality customer service across the Mental Health Care Services Division, fostering a welcoming environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the reception area efficiently, servicing both patients and staff with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain an excellent telephone manner while managing multiple lines and inquiries.
  • Coordinate and collaborate independently with the teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Uphold confidentiality consistently when handling sensitive information concerning service users and staff.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage appointments and administrative tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform word processing and typing using RSA Level II or equivalent skills to support office procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential typing skills and experience equivalent to RSA Level II or relevant work experience.
  • Prior office environment experience is required.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Reliable team player with a proactive and flexible work approach.
