- Work closely with students and clinical educators to help deliver client services.
- Handle day-to-day administration such as managing client files, booking appointments, and keeping documentation systems up to date.
- Keep consultation rooms in the required condition and support normal clinic workflows while following WHS and university policies.
- Carry out finance-related tasks such as taking payments, reconciling accounts, managing invoices, and preparing transaction reports.
- Support staff and student induction processes and provide broader operational assistance as needed.
Experience and background
- Completion of South Australian Certificate of Education, or an equivalent qualification, or comparable skills, knowledge, and experience.
- Previous experience in a reception or administrative role with a strong customer service focus.

- Practical experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
Eligibility and appointment conditions
- This role is a prescribed position under the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 and the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Regulations 2019, so a current Working with Children Check is required.
- Applications are open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, and anyone who has the legal right to work in Australia for the full appointment period.
- Registering on the Casual/Sessional Staff Register does not ensure that a role will be offered.
- If you already have a casual contract with Adelaide University, you should submit the application form to be considered for future vacancies.
