Role Overview
The RCM Success Specialist will be an integral member of our high-achieving team, acting as the primary liaison to practice owners, clinicians, administrative personnel, and patients. This role is centered on providing empathetic support and clear communication throughout each interaction.
You will collaborate closely with internal RCM teams to detect, document, and manage issues related to patient claims, payer setups, credentialing, and billing workflows. Your responsibility includes relaying updates effectively back to customers while maintaining a high level of empathy and professionalism.
This position offers significant cross-functional interaction, with direct insight into outcomes and ownership of the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main communication bridge between StrataPTโs RCM operations and its customers.
- Address inquiries concerning patient claims, payer configurations, billing processes, and credentialing.
- Collaborate with internal RCM teams to diagnose and resolve operational issues.
- Communicate solutions clearly and empathetically to customers in a timely manner.
- Identify and escalate systemic problems or recurring trends to leadership for process improvements.
- Keep precise records of interactions and resolutions with customers.
- Contribute customer insights to ongoing operational enhancements.
- Handle inbound communication, including phone calls and voicemails from customers and patients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Two to three years minimum experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with hands-on knowledge of patient billing, claims processing, credentialing, and payer relations.
- Preferred understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice), and clearinghouse operations.
- Outstanding oral and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to remain professional and empathetic when interacting with customers under stress.
- Excellent organizational skills with capacity to handle multiple cases and prioritize efficiently.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, CRM platforms, and EHR/RCM software tools.
- Preferred knowledge of reimbursement and clinical workflows in the physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and ABA sectors.
- College degree preferred but not mandatory; critical thinking and strong communication are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
This full-time position offers a salary range between $55,000 and $65,000 annually, dependent on experience.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, plus short-term and long-term disability coverage starting from day one.
- SIMPLE IRA with a 3% employer contribution after one year of service.
- Paid time off includes 14 vacation days annually, 7 company holidays, plus 1 floating holiday.
