About the Company
Our client is a prominent entity in the railway sector focusing on railway maintenance projects across Saudi Arabia.
Role Overview
The role requires executing both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on railway signalling infrastructure to uphold the safety and operational integrity of railway services.
Primary Duties
- Conduct scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance on sophisticated signalling equipment.
- Identify and repair faults within signalling hardware and systems efficiently.
- Manage and service components such as Interlocking systems, Axle Counters, Point Machines, Balises, Outdoor Signals, and Level Crossings.
- Work closely with the Operations Control Center (OCC) to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
- Document maintenance works diligently and ensure adherence to railway safety protocols.
Skills and Experience Required
- Possess a technical diploma or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or related specializations.
- A minimum of four years of hands-on experience in railway signalling system maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques specific to signalling equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical railway signalling devices effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety standards and compliance within railway operations.
- Competence in technical reporting and documentation of maintenance procedures.
- Good command of the English language.
