About the Role
We are seeking a QuickBooks Accounting Specialist to join us on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexible hours ranging between 10 to 40 hours per week, with compensation between $50 and $80 per hour. The specialist will primarily manage various accounting functions using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop software to handle financial operations.
- Efficiently conduct invoicing, bill payments, and reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Prepare and assess Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements for accuracy.
- Systematically maintain the Chart of Accounts along with customer and vendor records.
- Detect and resolve accounting discrepancies and streamline related workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Proven practical experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop is mandatory.
- Significant background in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Competence in generating financial reports and performing reconciliations.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
