About the Role
An established civil and highways contractor is looking to hire a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in Wales. The role involves managing a diverse project portfolio across England and Wales, focusing on strong financial oversight and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial performance and valuations for projects throughout England and Wales.
- Implement and maintain detailed financial control systems, producing monthly cost-value reconciliation reports.
- Collaborate with operational teams on contract and commercial issues to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between onsite and office personnel.
- Travel to various project locations to provide support to staff and clients as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- A BSc, HND, or HNC in Quantity Surveying is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least three years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the highways sector or local authority projects.
- Demonstrated capability in managing cost-value reports and project-related financial aspects alongside operational teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NEC contract forms is essential.
- Possession of a valid UK driving licence is required.
Additional Information
Salary ranges between £55,000 and £65,000 per annum, including a car allowance. Due to the volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted within two weeks of applying.
